By Foutas is, since 2018, the main distributor of premium Foutas from Tunisia, Turkey and India. The foutas are woven in 100% cotton by craftsmen who passionately perpetuate the heritage and know-how of their families. The fringes are hand knotted by local craftswomen who work from home and thus support their homes.
Concerned about our impact, the foutas are designed with recycled cotton yarn, without chemical additives, from the manufacturing surpluses of international ready-to-wear brands. Low-polluting modes of transport such as the boat are preferred and the packaging comes from forests under sustainable management.
