The fabrics are durable and all products are made entirely by hand (spinning, weaving and dyeing) with respect for ancestral techniques in our workshops in the Republic of Guinea where we employ more than 100 artisans. Our fundamental values are the promotion of sustainable production, respect for the environment and people as well as the guarantee of a safe and fair working environment for all our employees. The cushions are filled with Kapok, a 100% natural and hypoallergenic fiber, which grows in the Kapok tree, also called the “cotton-silk” tree.
Naturally waterproof and rot-proof. This lightweight fiber has unique swelling power as well as thermal properties. Its natural thermoregulation allows it to stay cool in summer.
